I have had virgin media in my current and last house and generally i have found it to be a good service although their curstomer service does need improving. I have the TV, broadband and phone line package and i have found it good value for money. One of the downsides are the lengths of contract you often have to sign to get a decent deal. We got stuck with a years contract in my student flat but when i wanted to move out and cancel i had to carry on paying for the rest of the period. As with nearly all broadband providers you very rarely get the speed as advertised, i have 4mb but regularly get 2mb if that. The TV has a good range of channels and is much better than freeview. Every now and again the menu and catch up service freezes and you lose all programme information or menu freezes. It is annoying but is normally solved by unplugging the box and giving it a minute before plugging it back up. Generally it is a good and reliable service but when there is a problem it is quite a hassle to get through on the customer service number. Its okay if you phone on the virgin line as its free but if your on a mobile, its expensive!
