Vodafone NetworkNewest Review: ... than 3 out 5 bars when using it in the UK, and i've found conversations to be clear with minimal interference or call break-up. Vodafone also provides a very useful website where you can monitor exactly how much you are calling and how much your bill will be. It's also a useful portal for downloading mobile content, and managing your phone. Customer services is a bit of an oddity, using a mechanical system which is actually very useful. In the unlikely event that it can't help you, you will be patched through to an operator based in the UK. I've found them to be polite, concise, and knowledgeable. A recommended network... more |

A UK originating mobile network provider. Also offering mobile broadband, as well as a selection of their own mobile phones. I've found this to be the best network that i have used, with the strongest signal strength when compared to available alternatives. My phone has never had less than 3 out 5 bars when using it in the UK, and i've found conversations to be clear with minimal interference or call break-up. I can only write a very mixed review of the vodafone network. To begin with...the pros: The best part of Vodafone for me has always been that it's network coverage is the best out of the several other networks I have tried. I never really notice that I have no signal (other than in obvious places). The next best part is that when I phone up at the end of every eightenn month contract, they always let me hassle them for a cheaper contract (and take my word for it...they are very prepared to negotiate when you tell them you'll leave if they can not price match!). Next...the cons: Sadly, many games are not available to download by the lower than average free ... Read the complete review

Everytime I contact vodafone customer services, I am left feeling conned!! We took out our first contract with them as we thought they were a reputable company. Things seem to go ok untill the first contract was coming to an end and we wanted to reduce the cost but turn 2 other 'pay as you go' phones into 2 other small contracts. Firstly, they promised to beat a 12 mth deal we were taking with Virgin for £10 a month (on 3 phones) by giving extra mins + txts for same price, they also had the vodafone family which seemed like a good idea. Then after 10 months they increased each contract to £30 a month so costing us a total of £120 extra for the last 2 months. ... Read the complete review

In 2007 I had a contract with Vodafone for a year and that was at 17.99 per month. They gave me 300 texts free plus 450 free minutes every month! A problem happened though as they charged me for a full month twice! The problem got even badder on the phone as their staff could not even help me out. They obviously have got some of the baddest staff working here who do not give a crap about customers ringing up. First I spoke nicely to the staff on the phone about the problem. In return he put me on hold for 15 minutes. 15 minutes to ask his colleague about what to do with the problem? I could not afford the call and asked him to ring me back. He took my number ... Best advice ever... do NOT take out a contract on VODFAFONE!! Vodafone can only be described as having the worst customer service from all the networks I've been with... including 3, Orange and O2. Its unethical, despicable and completely disgusting. This goes for their mobile broadband as well as phone contacts. Firstly, I tried renewing my contact 12 months ago. The sales rep tried her hardest to trick me into a double contract for the remaining period of my existing contact. This was my first disgusting encounter with the service. I only stayed after complaining straight away about their unethical behaviour and managed to get a good ... Read the complete review
