Just returned to vodafone after a spell with Orange who were great customer service just poor reception in my area so have gone with the new gateway that boosts signal strength in your home. So far have been with the just over a week and have to say their customer service is the worst I have experienced from any compny ever. They obviously employ idiots who just cannot do basic tasks - they'd be better employing monkeys. I have been lied to; left on hold for over 40 minutes until I hung up and rang back; customer response is generally between 15 and 20 minutes before you even get to talk to someone, and then the total call length usually ends up being 40-50 minutes so if you're not on contract this is maybe where they are making there money; deliveries to wrong locations for replacement despite confirming address 4 seperate times with 4 seperate people; replacements therefore taking over a week to obtain and I'm still waiting; and the list goes on and on and on and on as I have now spent the best part of nearly 3 full days trying to talk to them and am actually on hold at the moment with them - only 12 minutes so far so must be a record - no sorry now up to 20 minutes. Oh yes and everytime I try and access the web page for my account it is being maintained so you can't access any information and 3 of the times I have rung vodafone their systems have been down so again they can't tell you anything - bit shite for a large company specialising in technology.
Steer well clear of vodafone in my advice unless you need something only they can offer you as they are completely useless
