Advantages: Good signal, free abroad all summer
Disadvantages: Nothing yet
At the beginning of the summer I switched from 3 mobile to vodafone. I was tempted to change because I was working abroad for the summer and they were offering free roaming!
Basically I could buy a text and call package on pay as you go, and it would be used exactly the same as in the UK for no extra cost. I only spent £20 credit all summer, compared to how much I would have spent on normal pay as you go whilst abroad.
Im back now and have decided to stay with vodafone at the moment because I find that the signal is great in most places. Also they do good deals for texts and minutes if your on pay as you go. For £10 a month I get 300 texts and 100 minutes.
I havent had to use the help team at all yet, so cant comment on that. I find their website very easy to use for topping up and to look at deals.
If you are looking for a company that has good signal, and good deals then I can recommend it. However I got a free sim card from their website after getting my phone unlocked and didnt actually buy a phone from them.
Summary: I will stick with them

- 19/09/09 I agree, the company are top notch for signal quality; in my home town in Scotland there are only two companies you can rely on and sometimes up in the hills Orange just doesn't work. As such most have Vodafone.
If only I found their customer services and some of their network charges just as good though. |
