I have been with WHSMITH since the start of th year. Thye offer a pretty good variety of packages, but one of the biggest problems is trying to get through to them. They don't respond to emails, i can confirm that the emails are read, but never repsonded to . So if you are looking for a company with a good customer service, i suggest you try another company. I chose WHSmithNet because the packages sounded great - Off Peak was my first choice, £9.99 for 4pm-8am access and all day weekends, this was what I was looking for, so I signed up. When I signed up, the Off Peak had been discontinued so I opted for Daytime, which allows internet access between 8am and 4pm. I did not realise that there were hidden call charges for use at weekend. I have found the customer service poor, my complaint was never sorted properly despite assurances to the contrary. I can only say that I cannot wait for my three month subscription to come to an end. Please avoid this package at all costs. ...

We had shopped around for a while, to find the right Internet service for us. In the end, we found it, courtesy of WHSmith. We have been connected for about six months now, and the service is excellent. We did have problems at first though. We were attracted to WHSmithNet because of it’s Flat Rate plan, which can be paid over Direct Debit. We signed up fine, but when we got our phone bill, it was sky-high with Internet call chargers.
