Advantages: Unmetered access between 4pm and 8am

Disadvantages: Problems connecting at peak times

I've been using the unlimited off-peak service for about 5 months. In value for money terms, you can't do much better, especially if you have children who want to use the internet when they get home from school ("off-peak" starts at 4pm).

However there are still some problems with reliability, although they've been getting rarer as time goes on. At peak use times it can take 5 or more attempts to connect and even when it does connect, all to frequently the connection goes dead after about 30 seconds.

As I say this is become a less frequent occurence, but a few months ago it was a regular occurence. When I called customer services to see what the problem was they'd say they weren't aware of any problems, that they were always the last to know anyway and that I'd have to call technical support - costing 50p a minute! I really object to having to pay this much to be told that the server was down or had reached capacity.

But as I say.....it is improving.
