BT Studio 1100 ... bought these phones about a year ago. They seemed like a really good idea because you can install 4 phones around the whole house. We have one in the living room and then the other three are placed in bedrooms. You can make internal calls to the other phones, which has to be good.. it saved us shouting up and down the stairs when dinner is ready etc. - Advantages: - This phone comes with a good instruction manual and it was very easy to install. - You can make internal calls around the house, very useful. - BT is a realiable phone company, if you have any problems im sure they will be able to sort you out. - All four phones have docking ports so you can charge all o... Philips DECT 221 Duo ... would never buy another Philips Dect phone. Since we have bought our dual set, we have not been happy with it. At first, it was simply a matter of battery life. We would take the phone off the hook at full battery power, make a call and after forty-five minutes, the battery would be irritatingly bleeping because it has almost run out. Since, however, the problem has become worse. One of the two phones no longer rings or displays Caller ID and the sound when answering a call is extremely muffled. So we now have to carry one phone around the house with us, which beats the object of the Duo idea. And of course, with that phone off the hook for long periods of time, the ... BT Freestyle 310 ... replaced all my mismatched phones in the house with Freestyle 310s. They look good, have small base stations and large buttons, making them easy to use. Setup was easy enough, although it was a pain having to individually program the phonebook on each handset - I d have thought it should be possible to sync this across all the handsets using the same base station. Call quality is excellent, and range is perfectly acceptable, although it doesn t go as far as I would expect. If I take a handset running from a downstairs base upstairs for example, call quality becomes patchy quite quickly.
