I used to have a pair of iDect X1's which were similar in quality and just as clear - i would say the X2i is a rather bulky and the ringer melodies are not the best as they are either squeaky or sound like those phones in offices. They do come at a fair price - it may be worth looking at places like ebay as i picked my 2 X2i's up from there for £32. Overall, a good phone....more

The iDect X2i is very good phone, the sound quality through the ear piece is excellent - Very clear. The range of the handset it incredibly far. It uses dect which is Digitally Enhanced Cordless Technology . . . Hence the name!
