Advantages: Easy and simple to use

Disadvantages: None

I bought one of these phones for just under £7 from Argos last year.

The phone is easy and simple to use. It's all ready for you to use, it just needs to be plugged into the wall. As the phone is mains operated you don't have to wait around for it to charge as you just pick up the handset and dial the number. The phone is comfortable to hold in the hand. It has a nice finish to it and it fits well with the rest of my gadgets. You can fix the phone to the wall or you can just place it on the side. I place mine on the side. It's not too large in size and it doesn't take up much room in my lounge.

You have various volume settings so you can set the volume to a level that suits you. The phone has a clear ring to it. I can hear the phone if i'm in another room or outside if i'm pegging the washing out. It's only a basic phone. It doesn't have an answerphone but of course you can dial 1471 if you aren't sure who rang you. The keypad is easy to use. I can dial numbers quickly and easily without any hassle. The numbers are nice and big so I don't struggle using the phone if my contacts aren't in!

The phone is sturdy and durable. It doesn't take any getting used to and it's pretty self explanatory regarding how to use it. I would recommend this phone if you're just looking for a basic landline.

A simple "no frills" landline phone.
