Advantages: Easy of use, only have to repace battries every year or so, easy to read display, Not made by BT

Disadvantages: None

The British Telecom Relate 2100 corded telephone.
I have had this phone for around two years now and has never failed or gone wrong.
It cost me around £40 two years ago,w hich for this type of phone was bad.
I use the phone on my Virgin Media home phone so I know it is possible to use it on a non BT line.
The phone has loads on it and is powered by 4 AA batteries that I have only ever had to replace once to date (June 2008)
The phone has a easy to read large display which dsiplays any missed calls/received and dialled calls.
The phone is also able to send and receive SMS text messages so long as you have this feature on your home phone, which case I do.
The phone has a 200 Name-and-number directory which is hardy for saving all those important numbers and has space left over for work numbers!
The lead that plugs into your telephone socket is pretty long around 5 ft which is great if you dont have a telephone point close by.
You have switch the ringer off and on and also set hi, med and low on the botton of the telephone which is great if you dont want to be distrubed for any reason.
The phone has 5 quick dial numbers which can be set and changed at anytime.
I did have a cordless phone however I have found this phone to be better and more easy to use.
There are two red lights on the unit itself just above the screen, one for missed calls the other for sms received, these will flash should you either have a missed call or a sms, or both will flash if you have both, which is a good thing having two.
The phoen seems and appears to have stayed in like with todays modern look, considering i brought it 2 years ago.
It is sliver and hasa real nice feel, the handset is shaped just right to hold.
The phoen can place calls on hold, so generally speaking the phone would be great in a home office or at a small work place.
I think you can buy this phoen for around £35 now, you can for as low as £20 if you look around carefully however £35.00 seems to be the price in most places, so still the phone is going strong.
I believe that BT never made it and just placed their logo on it hence the reason for it being great!
I cant say this phone has any down points or anything bad, it can alos be wall mouted should you need extra space.

The phone has very clear sound and good quality hearing and talking on it.
The phone is a all round high quality phone for its money.

I rate this phone 10/10

Some good information here. May I suggest that you type your reviews in a word processor to get rid of all the typing/spelling mistakes. That will make your reviews easier to read. Also, the one thing I didn't learn about this phone is how good the sound quality of the calls are - can you hear people well, can they hear you?
