Advantages: works fine
Disadvantages: not pretty
A few months ago I told my daughter that I was fed up of how small the buttons on our house phone are. I sometimes manage to press the wrong buttons and wondered how I would cope with this when I get even older. My daughter said she would look for something that had bigger buttons... She came home with this! I was surprised at first, thought it looked rather hideous but actually I really like it!
It is a large phone and it isn't very pretty looking with being very white and the buttons being black but then I suppose this makes it practical so if you have sight problems it would be ideal!
It is a typical old-style phone with having the phne connected to the pad with a cord. This cord isn't all that long so I keep it next to the sofa so I can sit and talk, it wouldn't stretch much further at all. This is good though as it means that I have to put the phone back after I've been on it and so I'm not likely to lose it like I tend to do with cordless phones.
The buttons are big which is ideal, I can't press the wrong ones here although it does make me feel very old indeed as this phone I assume is aimed at people a good twenty years older than myself!
It isn't a fancy phone so it isn't at all confusing, I can easily work out how to dial, answer and finish a cal and that is all I need a phone for, I don't want anything complicated.
So although this looks rather huge and not prett it is actually practical and does the job I need it to.
