BT Doesn't Always Get It Right

Terrible, whoever designed these was behind the door when the brains were handed out. Battery life is appauling (and I've tried new ones - two sets @£19.90 for four x twin batteries. Damn thing loves to beep at you for the slightest reason, sound is terrible, keypad has an awful feel to it and you have to physically work at it to use it. It has lots of selectable functions, problem is they more fill the instruction manual than do any real life activity, and were designed by a technician with no real thought given to real world applicability or functionality. I wish I had seen the reviews here before I bought it last year (it was bought via another supplier).

Its now the last piece of terminal equipment I shall buy from BT - I no longer trust them. I had similar idiocy from their local "BT Business Centre" in connection with a small PABX, now run by an outsourced so called "business partner", appauling experience run by grubby money grabbers who have no thought for customer needs. BT moved to the Wholesale Supplier business model a few years ago, outsourced their local BT centres, and washed their hands of the retail market. You might see the BT logo - but its not them, the vans and shops are run by outsourced third party vendors who pay an annual fee for the rights to the BT area concerned. At the retail market end, BT have become glitz, glamour, and a marketeers dream - no substance, and their retail so called "Products" match that attitude.
