Advantages: Works well, not a bad price, good features
Disadvantages: Not compatible with headsets
I needed a few replacement phones for my office so went to Argos and purchased this phone. Many of our staff use headsets so I got this phone hoping it would work, and if it didn't I could swap other phones around as a cheap solution.
This is exactly what I ended up doing, the phone didn't work with our headsets so I had to swap an older phone that was compatible with our headsets (where the user wasn't using the headset) and swap that with the phone that wasn't working. It ended up being my phone that was swapped. Not ideal but it did solve a problem.
The phone cost £30 and for that you get a nice looking phone with big clear buttons that does its job.
After 3 weeks, the first phone broke so I had to take it back and get it replaced. I believe the speaker went on it as you couldn't hear the other person, it was really quiet. The new phone has been working well for the last few weeks. If I get any issues, I will update this review.
There are a few different ringtones, you can redial your last number called and there is a call log. I find the call log feature useful as I can keep track on who has called when I have been away from my desk. I can also have the phone on hands free but the speaker isn't very clear.
While the phone isn't bad, it would have been better if it was compatible with head sets. If you don't need a headset then this phone would be fine.
Summary: A good standard phone, it won't win any awards though!
