Advantages: Basic, Straightforward, Good Range Of Features.

Disadvantages: Batteries Run Down Quicker Than I'd Like Them To

I have owned this phone for about two years now and it has sat firmly on my computer desk since without any problem. It has been used on two service providers, BT and Virgin Media, and has never developed a fault.

It's a basic straightforward handset which suits me down the ground. It us corded and is operated with 3AA batteries to control the memory and the caller display. On the side you can display the ring volume and pitch and on the front you can take control of your answer phone and caller ID information. The phone has the ability to memorise three numbers that you call or need to recall most frequently, and as well as displaying and storing caller ID, it shows the time and date and uses this to store the times people have called the phone.

For me it's incredibly reliable. The buttons are a good size and not hard to push. Also, when it rings the bottom flashes red as well as ringing so if you had this in the bedroom and someone woke you in a daze at night it would be easy to locate, and the caller ID is very effective, showing is or has called, and the time and date which they did.

For me, having a corded phone is ideal as I'm not a frequent user of a landline so I'd only loose a cordless one or let the battery down so this could be handy for someone in those circumstances.

I find it does the job for me very well. The only criticism I have is that the batteries do need replacing every 4 or so months and seem to run down quicker than I'd expect but I think that's a fair price to pay. It can go longer than that but you find the screen starts to fade and you're looking at it sideways to try and distinguish who called you.

Otherwise it's a great product and comes highly recommended by me.

Summary: A Great Landline Phone.
