A good quality phone from BT .... now that's something ..??

This is one of those phones that does exactly what it is supposed to, which is nice, considering that it comes from the BT range.

You get everything you need in the box and setting it up is as simple as plugging the phones in, with the answer phone plugging into the phone line and the mains, whilst the other hand set just plugs into the mains. Then you let the batteries charge.

This has a 20 number caller list, a speaker phone, and answer machine, sms text messaging, an address book that can hold up to 50 names and numbers, built in clock, alarm and date function.
The batteries can last up to 200 hours on stand-by and about 6 hours of talk time.
The answer machine can handle up to 15 minutes of messages.
It has remote access, which needs to be set up and can be guarded with your own personal pass code.
The LCD screen shows the basic functions, the clock, callers numbers, call you're making, time of call, call timing and more.
This is the double set but you can get a set of four, maximum.
The range of these handsets are about 300 metres on a clear run and about 50 metres when trying to get through obstacles.

You get the option of a few ringtones, polyphonic or monophonic, there are 6 to choose from. It has the usual remote access, simply add a pin in order to gain access to the machine from other phones. You also get other features too, caller ID, if you have that with your phone line provider, and even a keypad lock to stop people using the phone to call their friends who are on holiday in Outer Mongolia.
The sound quality is clear enough to hear everything that is being said and what you are saying to others. The little LCD screen is clear enough to make out the number of who's calling you at the time, with all the other features showing on the screen in their own individual places.

The cost of these phones are about £30 for a twin set, being slightly higher for more, up to 4 phones can be connected together in this range.
So, if you're after a cordless phone with good all round quality then this is well worth looking into.
