      Disadvantages

Fairly simplistic but seems reliable and does everything I need.

I bought the BT Freestyle 3500 Twin when my old portable phone stopped working. I have been really pleased with them. Firstly I find them to be great value for money. Secondly the design of then is fairly modern (and hopefully quite timeless!). The battery life is very good and the range is pretty good (including garden access). The range tend to be about 50 metres but this is through the walls of the house.
It is fairly user friendly and I do use the amswer phone facility but have not put any of my numbers into the address facility. The paging service is very useful to find the phones when you cannot remember where you put them.

Downsides would be the number of ring tones available and the extremely loud ringer volume which I have not been able to turn down.

All in all good value for money, a simple user friendly option which seems very durable.
