It isn’t that long ago that everybody had a standard BT phone that they paid rental for. There was no choice. You either had what they told you to have, or you didn’t have one at all. They all looked more or less the same, and there were only a few boring colours to choose from with grey and phlegm green being the most popular. How times have changed. These days, phones are available in every conceivable shape ranging from hi-tech glowing transparent models to those that look like Elvis swaying his pelvis as they ring. Up until about 6 months ago, I’d had a so-called “hardwired” phone. That’s one with a cord. However, ... Read the complete review

I recently purchased a BT Diverse 3010 telephone. It is cordless and looks more like a mobile phone. It is comfortable to hold, It’s got 5 last number redial facility, 10 number memory, 120 dynamic channel, selection base station handset ringer volume control, digital security system which prevents eavesdropping, music on hold facility, ringer tone options and on top of all that it’s a great phone. Well worth the money. I use it when I’m out in the garden so I don’t miss any calls. ... Read the complete review

So you want a nice cheap portable phone do you? Well why not by a proper BT made phone and save yourself some money. The Freestyle 70 by BT is a very nice little phone. It is Basically a white handset that sits in a holder on the wall. The holder doubles up as the charger and also carries the main aerial. This can be extended to improve the signal range. The phone itself is very contained. All of the functionality and buttons are located on the handset. It is contoured very nicely with a streamlined look and feel. A very modernistic approach to phone design while most other handsets are becoming very small and box like. It has the ... Read the complete review

I have always had BT products when it comes to my home telephone. Phones, answerphones, accessories and so far I've never been disappointed with anything of theirs that I've bought. Until now. For less than £30 you can buy this lovely piece of kit from BT which for a cordless phone is a pretty reasonable price I'm sure you'll agree. It's VERY easy to set up and comes complete with everything that you will need. Simply plug in the phone lead, plug the supplied adaptor into a spare socket and off you go. The rechargeable battery is already fitted into the phone so after an initial 24 hour charge you're ready to go. ... Read the complete review

This digital cordless phone has a built in answering machine. You have a normal analouge line with digital clarity. The built id digital answering machine is entirely digital thereforethere is no tape involved which gives good sound reproduction and fast re-setting no waiting for that tape to rewind - it can store up to twelve minutes of messages which ain't bad. The message counter displays the number of messages that you have and you can either record your own message or use one of three preset messages. You can redial the last five numbers at one touch and can store up to ten numbers. Caller display is buit in to the handset which is handy when the ex ... Read the complete review
