A cheap phone that does the job. (BT Graphite 1100)
Member Name: JTGPsmummy
Advantages: Nice and lightweight, easy menus to navigate. Disadvantages: Speaker phone poor, can tip off base very easily. I was looking for an affordable cordless phone to replace my old one when I came across this one in a supermarket. It was a lot cheaper than many other places were selling it for and after looking at the features etc I thought it seemed like a good buy. It is a nice cheap phone that looks ok, but I think you do get what you pay for. I found the way you have to position the phone on the base is not very well designed as it tips back and the slightest knock will knock it off the base, so you have to be careful when putting it down. The ring tones are ok, nothing special. The volume of the ringer is nice and loud if you want it to be. There are useful features like a built in address book to store many numbers. The menus are very easy to navigate and I only read the book once to tell me how to use it properly. The speaker phone function is useless. I wanted to have a phone with this feature as I used it on my previous phone but it constantly breaks up and its just not worth using at all. It is nice and lightweight and does the job fine, so if you are looking for just a cordless phone thats not too fancy then this does the job. One advantage is you can add other handsets if you need to around the house. Summary: A basic phone that does the job if you don't need anything fancy.
