Advantages: Easy to use

Disadvantages: None so far

After the old home phone decided to stop working properly I felt it was time to get a new phone! I saw the BT Graphite 1100 phone while shopping in the supermarket and decided to pop it into the trolley. The phone package that I purchased contained two phones.

The phones themselves are quite attractive they are slim, black and slightly curved towards the top. They measure approximately 15cm x 4.5cm x 1.5cm/3cm (difference from top to bottom). The phones are easy to hold where the curve is. The phones have a display which is approximately 3.5cm x 2cm and it clearly displays the number calling, or being dialled. The display also shows the battery life in the top right hand corner which is useful to let you know when it needs charging. The phones sit in a round pebble like disk which has a charging display light at the front, the phones almost lean back in this pebble. The buttons on the phones are raised and have the number or words printed on in white. The number buttons are not too small and make dialling easy.

The phone also contains functions which allow you to store numbers in a phone book contained on the memory of the phone itself, so that you can easily have numbers to hand. To enter a number and save it you press the menu button which has a tick on it and press it two times going through the phone book/add entry process, it then says add name, you then type in the name using the letter on the number keys then press the menu/tick button then enter the number and again press the menu/tick button. You can then recall the numbers to the phone by pressing the phone book button and scrolling though the entries and then using the dial button. I entered numbers into the main phone, and they do not appear on the second phone, but this is not a major problem. The phone also keeps a list of people who have rung you, which you can go through using the arrow keys on the the phone. The menu also has a lot of other options including an alarm clock, I haven't really felt the need to explore any of these other options, but I'm sure that these are easy to use and work well.

I have had this phone for about a month now, and don't have any complaints about it. It has worked well so far and is easy to use.
