Advantages: looks quite good - good answering machine
Disadvantages: terrible ring tones
i bought this phone for my home, despite my wife and her reservations. I really should listen to her more, but I was determined to buy these phones.
The only reason I wanted them was because they looked like mobile phones, and the colours would go in our home. With heindsight I wish I had never bothered.
I should have realised from the outset that they were going to be trouble - I bought them from Tesco but they managed to charge me for them twice... not the fault of the phone, but not the best of starts.
The phones themselves worked perfectly well. They do look good - I still think so - and the built in answering machine is simple enough even for me to work them.
The ring tones are the most frustrating things I have ever heard. The standard rings are so high pitched that they go through you. The more 'exciting' ringtones are dull to say the least. I ended up selecting a 'blues' type tune. It was laughable, but for my mind the best that was on offer.
I found the keys hard to press, sometimes needing to be pressed twice to get the number dialed.
Eventually the phones started cutting out and switching off so I got rid of them. Even without this I was not happy with them in the slightest.
Summary: I was never happy with this product.
