We got these phones for a wedding present and they are very handy. We keep the main base downstairs as it needs to be plugged into the phone socket (and when we got these it was only then we realised that our house only has one phone socket and it is very expensive to get another socket, but all that is another story) and then we have the second base upstairs, as this only needs to be plugged into a normal electricity socket. The phones are both cordless which is great feautre and there seems to be a wide range of coverage as I have yet to lose coverage if out in the garden.
