BT Freestyle 750 Trio ... large~~ This was the whole family s first comment as I unwrapped our new set of BT phones. We were all used to the super slick, wafer thin, ultra sophisticated look of our mobiles, and seeing the large grey handsets with their extra big number buttons was just.... well... embarrassing! In fact the handset measures 3.6cm deep, 18cm high, and 5.8 cm wide - not that large really, and very comfortable to clutch between your ear and shoulder - this one will not give you neck cramp! Binatone e800 Twin ... At work, we still live in the dark ages where wired telephones are very much the norm. In our office however, we have dedicated support PC s which we constantly need to move to from our own PC s. As it was getting silly with trailing wires all over the office floor, the boss decided to buy us a new hands free phone kit. The kit he went for was the Binatone E800 twin set. I think this was probably the cheapest he could find but nonetheless we were still grateful as it was an unexpected gesture from him. Siemens Gigaset C475 ... long ago, I wrote a review of my BT Synergy Quad phone set, stating how happy I was with it. And I was happy with it, although I did state that the battery was starting to give me problems periodically. Now I could have gone on using my Synergy set for some time, but the battery issue was starting to get me down...occasionally I would be chatting away on the phone only to have the line and phone go dead in mid conversation. I had already decided that when I replaced the BT set, it would only be for phones with colour screens and I shall unashamedly admit this choice was made on aesthetic grounds rather than through thorough research.
