BT Studio 3100 ... piece or tat I have ever had the misfortune to lay my hands on. My previous phone (not cordless or digital but only cost about £5) died a death when the ringer stopped working. So I went out with cash in hand to purchase a new digital phone. I wanted to go for a slightly more expensive one so that it would last but due to stock limitations I took the cheap option and sadly regretted it. The faults/issues with this phone are numerous but naming a few which I have had:- - The choice of rings is limited and they are all shrill and piercing - There is only one button to pick up or hang up on a call which is confusing - All the buttons are grey with little distinction... Philips DECT 627 ... bought this phone as a twin pack some time ago now, i bought it purely on the design and because the Brand is one i trust. At first I was reasonably pleased as it was a big imorivement on my previous Binatone phone. However I have since noticed some annoying problems the phone has. The speaker phone option is just not worth using, you cant hear the person at the other end clearly and they cant hear you, the slightest sound seems to cut it off. When you try and answer a call for some reason it will sometimes keep ringing, resulting in me nearly being deafened by the ringtone after putting the handset to my ear. BT Freestyle 350 SMS Twin ... phone is lightweight. It is digital and cordless, powering itself from a independat base station that it can stand on. The base station needs a mains electric supply so before purchasing makes sure you have a electric socket near to your phone socket or can easily run an extension lead. The quality of sound is very good and and this continues at least within 10m of the base station. With previous cordless phones I experienced interefence if the TV was on however this is not the case with this phone. The buttons are a good size but the LCD display appears very basic in design.
