Siemens Gigaset SL37H ... ve had this about six months now. It s a stylish phone, with fairly normal buttons (why is it that so many stylish phones have stupid buttons designed for anything but pressing?) which makes it very easy to pick up and dial. I know that sounds obvious, but I ve had more than one DECT phone where just pressing the numbers was a chore, so it s worth mentioning. The function buttons are arranged in a ring and are a little more fiddly, but still not too awkward. The phone s base connector is like an oblong peg that fits in a hole on the bottom of the phone, so it s easy to pick up and relocate for charging (again sounds obvious but some phones are easy to put down w... Panasonic KX TG7301GB ... were desperate for a new phone seeing as we could only walk about a metre away from our old cordless phone without getting bad interference. I think it might have been our new broadband box?! So we opted for this Panasonic telephone from Tesco. It was in the sale and cost less than £20. I was worried that it would be the same as the old one but I was very pleasently surprised, no interference at all. I have been upstaires, outside in the shed and in the bath with very clear connection. There are various ringtones to choose from, some are a bit naff though! Panasonic KXTCD505ES ... this phone now for a few years and it is a great little device. It is cordless and the battery lasts ages without being charged. I don t know what the exact distance that they operate at is but mine work in the garden no problems at all. It features a display which shows the time date and if you have had any missed calls. If you have BT caller display and have programmed peoples numbers into the address book, there name and number will show when they call. You get a choice of ringtones to use and this makes it a bit different to a normal home phone. One of the other features is SMS, although I have not tested this so I can t really comment of this.
