The main difference is the fact that I am using this phone in my home and not a business. Panasonic KX TG7223GS ... have 4 of these phones in our house, with the big one in the kitchen. I dont know how much they cost but I m guessing they were around £70. The screen is illuminated orange and the pixels are very good. The menus are very easy and they are user friendly. A good thing about the phone is that you can set a personalised answer phone message for free. The design is sleek and good looking, with nice finishing touches. The phone is rounded and has a comfortable hold. The sound quality is brilliant when recieving or sending calls, but on answerphene messages you might have to listen closer as the sound is more blurred. Binatone iDect X3i ... house phone that can send and recieve text messages? It s gotta be good! I ve had this phone for a while now, and it has never let me down. The phone has extremely good battery life, I have left it uncharged for 3-4 days without chargng it. The internal call system is nice too, being able to call someone who s upstairs to tell them that thier breakfast s ready comes in rather handy! The sound quality of the phone is to a high standard, you can hear the person whom you re talking to loudly and clearly, and they can hear you in the same way. Philips SE2553B ... Philips phones were bought to replace an older Philips system that had decided to pack in. They are not a particularly fancy home phone, not having features like a colour screen etc. They are a typical, workhorse modern cordless phone for a home. The phones themselves may look slightly bulky but the are a nice size in practice and fit the hand and head profile nicely. The sound (voice) quality through the loudspeaker is very good and the hands free loudpeaker is of good quality too. The phones ring very loudly should you wish to set them up in this manner.
