The Doro 916cr is your average, everyday landline phone but with a few nice features I think you'll really like. The Doro 916cr comes with a nice design, which is quite similar to the Doro 915. This means this phone still offers nothing special but it's also not a pain to look at. The phones been designed with good sized buttons with clear writing which makes it easy to use although the buttons are close together which means you may hit one by accident which could be annoying but it depends on the size of your fingers I guess. It also comes with a nice clear screen at the top displaying things like caller ID with the date an time. These plus others add up nicely and will be very useful to all people, old and young. The cord means you have good distance although you should definitely consider purchasing a wireless phone. The phone itself is also hearing aid compatible which means it could be extremely useful with older people. The phone also comes with a hands-free speakerphone which is a nice addition for any landline phone. The 56 name and number phonebook also gives you the capability to have all your family, friends and other important contacts stored on it, though this depends on how popular you are I guess, so you may have less than that or you may need to think of getting another phone or a phone book. Besides if you miss a call from someone you have a 40 minutes long, digital answering machine which is quite a good amount. All in all this phone is good especially offering a good solid build and some really nice features.
