These telephones look great when you take them out of the box, but that's where it ends! Within weeks, one phone in the set had broken and the battery casing would no longer secure. The ring tones are irritating and shrill, none in the selection are worth using. The keypads are exceptionally difficult to use, sometimes they don't work at all, and 9 times out of 10 you are unable to end a call without placing it on the base. They cut people off at random, make bleeping sounds whenever they decide to do so and seem to have a constant echo in the ear piece. Being the sort of person that likes to be a little bit different I purchased this phone as it looks good and a little different to the phones that are currently on the market. I have to say I am very disappointed with this phone. The touch sensitive keypad is nothing short of an absolute pain, it is very sensitive and it is easy to dial by accident. I have also managed to hang up on a lot of people during a phonecall when my cheek has accidently pressed the end call button. Which is an interseting problem given that the other problem is that when I actually want to hang up on someone it won't let me! I stay conected for at least another minute whilst I am ... We have a modern looking home; all appliances are modern looking and have a good range of functions. When we went shopping last month we decided to upgrade our tired old fashioned looking phone to something new. We wanted cordless, answering machine, digital display and 2 handsets. Over we went to Comet where we saw this Magic box – wow it looked the business, with a blue back lit screen, answering machine, conference calling, 3 handsets, polyphonic tunes and touch sensitive key pad, amongst other features.
