Advantages: Quality of phone
Disadvantages: Buttons sometimes freeze/stick
I really love this phone as I have had it now just over a year.
It is a cordless phone which means I can walk around using it. For me this is ideal as when I'm working in the office I can look for files while I chat! It plugs into the base and so charges the phone for you.
The phone has an answering machine which you can record your own message onto and this is simple to do just press the silver button in the corner and you're away!
Its easy to listen to message as well and there is a green light which will flash when you have a message. Simply press the play button and it will go through the message you can either delete them by pressing the button with a cross by it or just leave it if you want to save the message! You can skip through the messages by pressing the left or right arrow buttons. The quality is not brilliant when people leave messages but Its good enough that you know what people are saying, it can just sometimes sound as though there is a bit of white noise in the back ground.
There are also buttons on the base if you want the phone on speaker phone which you can dial from and I was impressed with this as it is very loud and the actual quality of listening to peoples voices is great as the majority of the time it sounds as though they are in the room with you.
It has a very good range cover, as I often use it to walk downstairs from my office and can still hear who I am talking to crystal clear!
The one drawback with this phone which I have found is that after I had these phone for about 10 months I would press the number buttons and it wouldn't register me pressing it even though it had beeped as though I had pressed it. So id press it a little bit harder but then 2 or 3 of the same number would pop up.
It doesn't happen all the time but still it can be frustrating when it does!

- 11/02/09 Good start here but try to remember to watch your spelling and grammar (using a word processor will help with this). Also, with a cordless phone it would be nice to know how good the range is and if there is any reduction in sound quality as you move to the furthest extent of its range. |
