When I visited Currys couple of years ago to buy cordless phone, I found this panasonic model very cheap at £35 for 2 handsets. Being from well known brand, I purchased it without checking any features etc.
Both the handsets are gray plastic back with silver plastic fascia, same as shown in the product picture. The handsets are reasonably sized and fits comfortably in the adult hands.
The main unit connects to telephone port, but additinal unit is not required to connect to the line. Which is very good feature.
Featurewise, it is very limited. I can store upto 20 name/number in the dictionary. After using mobile smartphones, any cordless landline phone seems pretty basic. Nothing is obvious here. Any setup is like low level programming and requires you to study the manual. This includes adding entry in phonebook, changing voice volume, changing ring-tone etc. But this might be true for most of the low-end cordless phones.
I also found that battery life is not very good. After few months, stadby time was down to 4-5 hours which is very bad. May be I need to replace them with new rechargable AAA batteries.
But looking at the price tag, it does its job perfectly. The call sound quality is very good. I tried the phone range upto 10 m and it seems ok with that. It is just that user interface and battery life let it down.
