I am using a pair of these Panasonics in the office; base phone at my desk and the satellite unit in another room where I need to work from on most days. This is a convenient and flexible arrangement that makes sure I don't miss calls as I move from one place to the other.
Got the Panasonic's because they were a good price and packed with useful features. In practice I use only a few of the features; useful things redial from loud speaker function and with that volume control.
A lot of the other features are superfluous and I never remember how to use them in any case. Battery life has never been an issue but generally gets plenty of recharge time so has never really been tested to its full extent. Range of use is good; I have been down to the ground floor and outside on the street without loss of signal. Generally the Panasonic set has been a good buy and proved an effective work aid.
