Useful, but not the best phone

Advantages: It works just fine
Disadvantages: No caller id, and tinny sound
Im writing about the Panasonic digital cordless phone, Model Num- KX-TG1611SP. It is a single phone and docking station/charger. It comes in a wide variety of colours, black, white, re, blue, green and purple. It has a 50 number phone book and once fully charged has 150 hrs standby time and 17 hours talk time. It also has speed dial for up to 9 numbers.
We bought this as we needed a new phone, but with moving and everything didnt have a lot of money. We found this in a local cash and carry shop for £18.99 and because i liked the colour of it we decided on this one! (we have the red one and it matches my walls!) Ok, so it comes in a small square cardboard box, which is easy to open. It comes with a docking station/ charger and a single hand held phone. The wire for the docking station is about 2m and the cable for the phone line is the same, about 2m. The docking station is a small square that the phone stands up in and is about 3 inches by 2 inches. The phone is very slim and is about 7 inches tall with a rounded top.Very easy to charge, just plug the charger in and stand the phone inside the docking station. The first time you use it, it needs a 12 hr charge. It can store up to 50 names and numbers, again easy to put in, and on the screen shows signal strength and battery life. It also has 12 different ringtones to choose from.
This phone works perfectly well and the battery life is excellant, However you do have to be careful of how you put it in the charger otherwise it doesnt charge properly. The signal is good, the sound quality is excellent and the cordless part is an obvious plus. I also like the design and colour very much, I think its useful as you can match it to your house, however this is a cheap phone and its shows, its looks plasticy and flimsy. I dont like that it doesnt have caller ID. I would like to know who is calling! so that is a major set back for me, also the ringtone sound is very poor. It sounds like a little childs toy, very tinny and high pitched, Not nice if it wakes you up!!!
So an alright buy for a cheap phone, but if you have a bit more money then for a couple of quid more I think you could get a better phone. We are going to keep it as it works perfectly fine, but next time I wont be buying it , So therefore I wouldnt recommend this phone and I only give it 3 out of 5.
Thanks for the read and the rate, I hope it has been of some help. :)
