	Panasonic KXTCD 725 ... bought this set of phones on my previous experience with Panasonic and the fact that it did everything. OnceI had the unit at home, I charged it for the 15 or so hours required. The next day I eagerly went home to use the new phones......but shock.....the phones were great until you had to use them! The sound quality was very very poor. The answerphone......this was the worst I have ever heard. The outgoing message had so much background noise you could not understand what was said.....when somebody left a message it wanst much better. 	Panasonic KXTCD 725 ... if you use this phone, the answer will be yes. Unless you mother has an hearing impediment, like mine, then the answer is "what did you say?" After 5 goes at asking her to turn her hearing aid to the "T" position, the answer finally becomes yes. But its worth the wait. This phone is a digital cordless phone. 99.9% of you will probably be used to mobile phones, and this phone has basically the same features. It has a phone book, a built in answerphone, caller display (if you subscribe to it with your telephone provider), last numbers dialled and received stored etc etc. It looks a bit like a mobile phone, and acts like one - well if you a... 	Panasonic KXTCD 725 ... I dont personally like the LCD display when a call comes in the Number is huge compared with the name which is small I would rather both the same size or larger name. Another weird thing is that if you want to lock the keypad you have to press long on the Menu button for some reason. The Instruction book says that optional snap on covers can be purchased for the phone. I got in touch with Panasonic in the UK and they said the covers where not available for the UK and European market. So you cant buy them even if you wanted to.
