We chose this phone based on price and looks. We didn't want to spend to much but at the same time wanted something solid, easy to use and a phone that would last a good few years. Unfortunately we have been slightly let down. The second handset that we bought has now died - the screen was the first to go and then when it rang it was impossible to answer. This happened after we'd had the phone 18 months. On a positive note it is easy to use and easy to retrieve / clear answer machine messages. I found the navigational system to be similar of a basic mobile phone but with a coloured screen.
