This machine has proved to be a very useful one because although we rarely send or receive faxes it is inevitable that when one wants to do so it is urgent and there is either no time to go and find a shop that provides the service or they are all closed. The ability to copy the occasional page is also invaluable. The answer machine part of this device works very well and allows one to easily see (on the display) the date and time of the recorded message. I have this product for about two years now. It hasn't let me down but has one or two querks. It seems a little sensitive to paper thickness, which may, if incorrect jam in operation. This can be extremely annoying if the machine is left to operate autonomously. Its feature to be able to have different ringing features for day and night does allow some privacy to be incorporated allowing autonomous operation out of hours without you being disturbed. Another point is that it uses specially designed carbon roll for its 'ink'. Good print out quality though. Not ashamed that I bought it.  Read the complete review
