Philips Onis Memo 6511:
... my tales of woe continue. I am the jinx of South West London. I need only look at an electrical gadget, and it invariably stops working, works bizarrely or needs a repair or replacement of some description. My Philips Onis 2 Memo DECT phone is no exception. But yet again, I am getting ahead of myself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The History ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Back in the dim and distant past of m... Philips Onis 6311 ... the REN umber usually allows. After about a year we started getting problems with he talk time and had to replace the batteries (not a problem in itself) but without the expensive originals they just don’t last as long. When we replaced the batteries some of the clips on the battery cover broke (on all the phones) and these then kept falling off and had to be replaced. I contacted Philips and they directed me to a third-party Service Company, I got the covers at a cost of £2 each (plus posting). A few months later we started getting problems with the green dial button on the most used phones, I managed to open the phones (unfortunately it’s very ... Philips Onis 300 ... can t believe that it s actually legal to sell this kind of junk. There must be something about it in the Trades Descriptions act. About 1 1/2 years ago, we invested in the answerfone version of this phone, with 2 handsets. The first (and main) problem with it, is the speed of communication between handset and base station is appalingly slow. If I press call register , for instance, it can take up to 5 seconds for the screen to appear. Same with any of the other functions, which makes putting phone numbers into the memory a complete nightmare - in fact I gave up doing this about a year ago. We now use a good old-fashioned paper address book. In fact, It takes me ab... Read the full review: Unbelievable by redleader2 |

Philips Zenia 6626 ... I Bought This Phone I work from home, and spend a lot of my time each day on the phone. I use a Headset to minimise back/neck strain and enable me to type while I talk. My calls are normaly one-to-one but each week I also take part in a number of 'conference' type calls with my colleagues. What I was looking For Consequently, when I upgraded from the very functional AudioLine DECT 4055 product, I was looking for something that would be even better. The I upgraded to this DECT phone because a)it had a Headset socket (akthough I use my Platronics headset rather than the free ear/mic supplied) - not many DECT phones have this b) it had Speakerphone - both o...
