Advantages: Good speakers, well priced

Disadvantages: Difficult to transfer calls

Our office bought this conference phone from Nimans for £211.25 and we do not think it is of good value. The speaker is ok and the whole room can hear the conversation. But the microphone is not too good you still need to sit close or lean forward while speaking. Sometimes it looks like the line dropped as it goes suddenly very quite and you get concerned if the other side can hear you. I suppose this does not happen to all the phones because our office actually bought two of this phone and only one has this problem.
The biggest disadvantage of this phone is that you cannot transfer a call from this phone to another. So every time if a caller asks for anybody else, we need to use other phones to call the colleague who then needs to come to your phone to answer. We contacted the technical support and they said to be able to transfer, your PBX needs to be in a certain setting up. Praise to Polycom online techinical support service. Quick response.

Summary: Not great value and would not recommend.
