Siemens Gigaset SL56 ... decided to seek out the best phone available that would allow us to sync our computer address book to the phone. Unfortunately this turned out to be worse than a £4.99 phone from Tesco. The volume of the ringer is so quiet it can hardly be heard, the battery life is awful, the 3 button on both handsets fails to press on occasion, the operation of the phone is entirely counter intuitive and even simple operations like Redial and phone book traversal require at least a few tries to find. Syncing the phone through bluetooth only works with outlook and then it took quite some time to pursuade it to share. The address book once sync d is practically unusable and lacks ba... Not as classy nor functional as an iPhone, but a huge step up from your typical cordless phone. The user interface (i.e. menu) is easy to use. The screen is fantastic; sharp, bright, large. Siemens Gigaset C475 ... everyone and welcome to this review! Well I am a fan of Siemens phones. A year ago I bought a two handset system which I was over the moon with. But! We had used them so much that they had seen better days and were in need for replacement. This is where this lovely handset came into my life:) We have to own a cordless phone in our home.
