Siemens Gigaset A140 ... I find it adequate. (Sis complains it sometimes fails in the most inconvenient moments !) We usually recharge overnight anyway... There is a battery life display on the LED screen, & if it looks down & the phone call is important, I just use the ordinary phone instead. Otherwise, I warn the caller that the battery might go down, & there s a warning for that too. Ringtones Siemens Gigaset A140 does not have such pretty melodies as some phones, but they are adequate & easily heard even by the elderly. (While some of the prettier ones on other phones aren t.) Siemens Gigaset A165 Duo ... buying cheap phones time and time again and being constantly disappointed, I decided to up my budget slightly (not too much mind!) and buy this siemens set. It was well worth it. The phones sound perfectly clear during a conversation and I m told I sound very clear on the other end. They are very simple to set up, the instructions are laid out very clearly and it took me five minutes to do. The answer machine is also simple to use, skipping through the messages and deleted individual messages without having to get rid of all of them is a huge advantage. Highly recommended!... Siemens Euroset 2010 ... wish to give the impression that I live in a mansion, or that my garden is large enough to be classed as a field, but the distance between, say my shed and the telephone appeared too great for your average cord-less to cope with..(In spite of the advertizing) So all I would hear was a loud hiss, or faint crackle. Frustrating or what! Then I discovered the Diverse 2010 manufactured by Siemens.
