Tesco Value TH100 Slimline Gondola Telephone

Product Type: Tesco telephones

Newest Review: ... corded, and doesn't have any amazing features but if all you need is a phone and you're not bothered about that (or you want ... more

... a second phone), then this is absolutely the phone for you. I will happily give this 5 stars out of 5 and recommend it highly, it's by far one of the cheapest pieces of electronic hardware I've ever bought and strangely it's one of the best - I guess sometimes the less features something has, the less there is to go wrong! Overall, I can't fault it. Well done Tesco :)...more

In our previous three storey house my parents had a telephone on the ground floor and we had another with a different number upstairs. I soon realised that, when I was in the office on the top floor and my parents' phone rang on the ground floor, I had quite a run to answer it. I found a socket on the top floor which was connected to the ground floor phone so I decided to buy a cheap phone to plug in to save my legs. The one I chose was the Tesco Value TH100 Slimline Gondola Telephone which currently costs £3.88 which is quite a bargain! This white telephone is basic and is made up of a flat base unit with a corded handset that rests on ...  Read the complete review

This very cheap telephone has resided in my utility room for some time now, I remember paying just £3.79 for it around three years ago and it has proved itself to be an extremely good buy and one I am very glad I made. I had been looking for a telephone for the utility room for some time, but as it is located outside I was loath to spend too much money as I was concerned about the cold and damp conditions giving any telephone I chose a shorter lifespan than would be expected. The Tesco Value Gondola phone is a wonderful purchase as it works so very well, you would never guess that it is such a cheap product as it not only works but also looks very ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Value TH100 Slimline Gondola: Great value house phone (630 words)

My BT phone line was playing up. When it rang, I could barely hear the caller. Naively, I thought all I needed to do was ring BT and they would come rushing out to help me and all would be well. Wrong. Before they will visit, they need assurance that it is not your actual handset that is faulty. If it is, you get to pay £130 for wasting their time. To avoid this they recommend trying a different phone in your socket to check it's not your phone causing the problem. So, it was off to Tesco to buy another handset, purely (I thought) to establish that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the ones I already owned. Tesco have a surprising and ...  Read the complete review

As my husband has a contract phone we do not really use our house phone as much so when our old phone broke we just wanted to buy a cheap phone that would serve the purpose of phoning and receiving calls. So as I do everytime we are going to buy something new my first stop was tesco where I ended up getting this tesco value Th100 slimline gondola phone for only £3.98 which I was amazed I could actually get a telephone for that price. The phone looks very basic being white with black buttons and has a cord. The phone has an adjustable ringer volume and also last number redial which is very handy. Other features of this phone are mute and recall which is great ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Value TH100 Slimline Gondola: Cheap And Basic.... But Fine! (596 words)

We've got LOADS of phones in our house, and I mean one in every single room apart from the bathroom and one of the bedrooms. The thing is that the phone in the hallway is right under where we keep the coats, the socket stands out quite a lot from the wall so it's always getting kicked accidentally. After a few kicks the phone jack will break..... and then the phone is no good! We went without a phone in the hallway for ages but then my dad saw this Value Slimline phone in Tesco, he didn't buy it but told me it cost less than £4.00. Next time I went to Tesco I went to have a laugh at such a cheapo phone but it actually looked ok so I ended up buying it!!! ...  Read the complete review
