... with a red rotating ball for a stand... quite modern and stylish. Easy to clean, package comes with free cleaning cloth but found that it can also be cleaned with a normal dust cloth. Sony KDL-32V4000 ... bought this TV last year from tesco as it was on offer and i have been totally impressed! The picture quality is fantastic especially in HD. The sound quality is very good - although if you like it loud and "basey" then i would sugest getting a decent surround sound system as the basic setup is just that. As more and more appliances require HDMI cables - i would also advise a neewer bravia TV as this unit only has the one HDMI slot. Also it regularly dropped the HDMI signal from my SKY HD box - which i put down to the sky system, however i have moved over to cable and it is now din it with that so wonder whether it is the TV unit itself. Hannspree Xv JT01-32E2-000G ... this one for just under an year now. It is not as expensive as the Samsungs or Panasonics. The 32" was just about the right size for the living room space. Any bigger and it would have overshadowed the whole room. The LCD screen is very clear. It has a HDMI port, so that means it is future proof for Blue Ray players and PS3 game consoles. I also plug in my laptop to it to watch movies. However would not recommend using the screen for normal laptop working. It is massive, but the resolution is not very high. The only major problem I have faced on this is, that when you plug in your laptop to the screen, use it and then unplug the laptop, the TV goes into a freez... Samsung Syncmaster 2333HD ... is a fantastic piece of kit that looks very stylish and is actually very simple to use. Like most screens of its type it has built in freeview and all the usual channels. However, this tv can also double up as a PC monitor making it a much better investment. This means it already has a dvd player and the majority of computers now support HDMI output. The screen is 23" in size which seems very ample for most situations. It has a stylish shiny black frame and some transparent detail at the bottom which is illuminated by a blue light. This tv is very good in terms of cost.
