Sony KDL-40W5500 ... are just about the top of the league when it comes to audovisual fare. The Sony KDL40W5500 accordingly costs a pretty penny although if you know where to go it can be had for a pretty reasonable cost compared to lesser rivals. The set may look pretty but there are prettier rivals. The picture, when used with your own digital service or DVD, is pretty good with sharp colours and clear images. The sound is clear and distinct. I would recommend that you hang this set well out of the way since the screen easily picks up smudges from little fingers and pens/pencils can easily damage the rather fragile screen. Sony KDL-37W5500 ... Sony Bravia TV series is up there when it comes to TVs. The quality that they produce is one of the best that you can buy. The Sony KDL-37W5500 is a decent model from the Bravia range although this particular model is a 37 inch monitor which is quite rare. Most people tend to choose between either a 32 inch or go to the better 40 inch. The Sony KDL-37W5500 is a full HD Ready TV yet you do require a High Def source to experience the full HD 1080p, and 100hz. Without the High Def source then the TV is pretty ordinary and you are better off buying a lesser brand TV and a smaller price. Toshiba 37XV635DB ... bought this TV to replace our non-HD old fashioned Bush model. We managed to find a bargain display model reduced for quick sale for £300 in an independant TV shop! We absolutely love it, everything about the TV is exacty what we need. The size is perfect, the swivel base is a fantastic feature, it is easy to use and was incredibly easy to set up. My lesser half also uses it with his Xbox and while he found it quite hard to find the right channel to get a HD picture from this, once he had worked it out he found it easy to use each time.
