Philips 42PFL7662D ... it is like A few months ago my mate Ben got a new TV. His family has a bit more money than mine, so they bought the Phillips 42PFL7662D. It is an expensive TV but also an amazing quality one. I would say that it is around the same as mine, which makes the price a bit too much as mine was around a hundred pounds cheaper. The picture quality is sharp and the sound is crisp and clear. We have watched a fair few movies on this and every one has been very enjoyable. It is a widescreen, flat TV and also 42". It has an electronic program guide which is very useful. The "1000 page hypertext" is made to give fast access to teletext. As well as this it is full H... LG 37LC51 ... REVIEW IS FOR LG 37LC55! I was recently browsing aimlessly through different major manufacturers product lines, looking for a 37" LCD for under £600 - and then I came over this little beauty. Priced at only £470 from AJ Electronics, I first thought that it couldn t be as good as a similar sized LCD from one of the major manufacturers like Sony, Panasonic or Sharp. After reading rave reviews about how good it was for the price and it being value for money, i took the plunge and bought one. JVC LT-30E45SU ... bought this set as I recall JVC as a brand standing for excellent quality. Pros: Installation was easy and straight forward as it was merrely pluged in and switched on. The contrast ratio works ok for signals coming through the cable. Cons: The contrast ratio is insufficent for high quality pictures, like those from a DVD. Worst: The set is very sensible to burn in pictures or shadows. After a short time of use, we had a dark shadow in the middle of the screen. It does state in the manual burn ins may occour.
