LG M227WD ... put up with a 15inch monitor for years I decided that it was time to upgrade! This was bought mainly with the intention of being a monitor, with the TV functions as a nice extra. Looks wise this is quite smart, the surround at top and sides is a bit less than an inch wide gloss black at the bottom its a bit wider and has the speakers mounted in a curved section below this. All the controls are on the right hand side of the unit along with the connector for external speakers/headphone (your gonna need to use this!). The remote is functional if uninspiring, and all the controls are pretty much obvious. It runs of 2 AAAs and is quite happy on rechargeables. For use... Technika LCD22-208 ... bought this Tv as an upgrade to my old 14" JVC TV which was about 10 years old and took up an awful lot of space considering its small screen size. When I bought my Playstation 3, I decided that now would be a good time to upgrade, after looking around for a number of weeks and not finding anything in the price range I was looking at, being in my bedroom, the TV isnt used an awful lot, I was doing my weekly shop in Tesco and happened to notice this TV on display. I had a look and decided to think about it, as I wasnt sure about the brand reputation, however before I finished my shopping I had an impulsive moment and decided to go for it. Technika LCD22-208 ... Technika LCD22-208. Its a TV, DVD player and freeview box all-in-one, plus it has HD capability, which is nice. However, there are a few issues with it. It isn t the only 22" LCD TV with all these features on it, nor is it the best i m sure. For example, build quality may be an issue, where i need to string up my RF cable (the aerial cable) to prevent it from falling out or even just bending the socket a little, which i have found causes a little interference on some channels. Tuning the TV is easy, it has a simple to use auto-tune function, the only problem with it is finding it on the menu, which goes for most settings on the menu as well, although the differe...
