... bought this TV back in January this year, and I love it. It was veery easy to setup, and you also get the option to either have it on the wall or on the stand.This was purchased at a supermarket and was very cheap compared to eveywhere else. Samsung LE-37R87BD ... ve had this TV now for just over a year and I m still very pleased with it. Asthetically, it s very nice to look at with a black glossy finish, as is common with most Samsung televisions. It has built in freeview, and the initial set up is easy, with the TV automatically attempting to find the channels. The picture is good, though the black isn t as deep as I would like. I had thought on purchase that this television was full HD as opposed to HD ready but I ve recently tried finding information relating to this to satisify my own curiosity but can not find out. Toshiba 37X3030DG ... is the most expensive Electrical Appliance that I have ever bought. I paid £799 for it in July 2007 from Currys. The TV has a 37" screen. It is a Full High Definition television which means it is capable of the best resolution available of 1080p. For those who don t know, this means that it has a maximum of 1080 lines of data being fired across the screen to make up the picture. The P means that this happens progressively. Where you see an I afterwards, the lines are interlaced. The picture quality in High Definition is excellent. Although as with all HD TVs, you must have a High Def source to get a High Def picture. Sony KDL-37W5500 ... Sony W series has a quite good reputation as a dependable and good quality picture TV. However, as the 37" is a relatively uncommon size in Sony TV s in most shops in the UK it will be over priced. The 40 inch version will be better value. Also, regarding the speck a trait that can often be found in Sony TV s is that they will have a similar series with quite similar speck but at a lower price. Usually it is the V series that will be cheaper version of the Sony W. Regarding the W5500 speck, it has all that most people will want: it is full HD 1080p, and 100hz.
