Toshiba 37AV615DB ... good, all i had to do was select the language, country etc, good, press auto scan so that the tv could search for all the freeview channels aswell as analogue ones, good, navigate the menu to select the desired sound and picture (of which there are healthy options)..it was all so easy. Within minutes you can sit back and watch your new 37 inches of high res freeview channels, with a great picture. There are a number of scart and hdmi inputs to allow for the best dvd viewing and console gaming. I have had a ps3 for a year or so and while i thought it was good on a standard definition tv, it is 100x better on high definition. One thing i would mention is the sound, wh... Toshiba 37XV635DB ... Toshiba 37XV635DB has a lot of features for the price of £550 which in my opinion makes it really good value for money for a branded good looking LCD TV. I like the glossy Toshiba styling and thin frame. This TV has 100hz meaning you get a smooth nice flowing picture and with full hd 1080p & upscaling of freeview and hdmi inputted content this is a great sharp quality TV. The TV has 4 hdmi ports which is more than enough for a blu-ray player, ps3 and sky+ hd. It also has a USB port where by you can playback divx movies without the need for a dvd or dedicated media player and this is a superb feature. Panasonic TX-37LZD85 ... purchased the TX-37LZD85 in 2008 after many nights of review-reading and soul-searching. On the whole, it s proved to be a good choice - nice crisp colours, inky blacks, sharp images, displays HD pictures gorgeously. The set itself looks sleek, with it s shiny black frame and base. The base has a nifty hidden swivel system - when you turn the TV on the swivel base, it looks as though the whole base is sliding on the cabinet surface. I guess it s not much of a feature, but I like it. I ve heard that the sound on the inbuilt speakers is pretty good, but we ve only ever used external speakers so I can t comment.
