Samsung Syncmaster 2333HD ... is a fantastic piece of kit that looks very stylish and is actually very simple to use. Like most screens of its type it has built in freeview and all the usual channels. However, this tv can also double up as a PC monitor making it a much better investment. This means it already has a dvd player and the majority of computers now support HDMI output. The screen is 23" in size which seems very ample for most situations. It has a stylish shiny black frame and some transparent detail at the bottom which is illuminated by a blue light. This tv is very good in terms of cost. Sanyo CE-26LD81-B ... bought this new TV on the basis that Sanyo was a good product name. How disappointed then when we realised what poor box technology this set has. Programme changing by remote was slow, unpredictable or even unresponsive. No programme info available was the norm unti the set was rebooted when it magically appeared - for a short while. Although we had no complaints about picture or sound quality, the performance of the box drove us to distraction and Asda have now replaced it with a Sony which is as brilliant, reliable and quick as the Sanyo was unreliable slow and erratic. Technika LCD22-208 ... Technika LCD22-208. Its a TV, DVD player and freeview box all-in-one, plus it has HD capability, which is nice. However, there are a few issues with it. It isn t the only 22" LCD TV with all these features on it, nor is it the best i m sure. For example, build quality may be an issue, where i need to string up my RF cable (the aerial cable) to prevent it from falling out or even just bending the socket a little, which i have found causes a little interference on some channels. Tuning the TV is easy, it has a simple to use auto-tune function, the only problem with it is finding it on the menu, which goes for most settings on the menu as well, although the differe...
