LG 32LB75 ... with a red rotating ball for a stand... quite modern and stylish. Easy to clean, package comes with free cleaning cloth but found that it can also be cleaned with a normal dust cloth. The shiny piano effect has not worn off over time, still looks as new as the day we brought it. Has a good rotating position on the ball. Clear cut defined picture and sound quality. Need to play with the manuals to discover a few of the settings e.g whats best for watching dvds or films and whats best for watching news and documentaries etc. Simple structured layout to the menu on screen. Sony KDL-32V4000 ... bought this TV last year from tesco as it was on offer and i have been totally impressed! The picture quality is fantastic especially in HD. The sound quality is very good - although if you like it loud and "basey" then i would sugest getting a decent surround sound system as the basic setup is just that. As more and more appliances require HDMI cables - i would also advise a neewer bravia TV as this unit only has the one HDMI slot. Also it regularly dropped the HDMI signal from my SKY HD box - which i put down to the sky system, however i have moved over to cable and it is now din it with that so wonder whether it is the TV unit itself. Hannspree Xv JT01-32E2-000G ... this one for just under an year now. It is not as expensive as the Samsungs or Panasonics. The 32" was just about the right size for the living room space. Any bigger and it would have overshadowed the whole room. The LCD screen is very clear. It has a HDMI port, so that means it is future proof for Blue Ray players and PS3 game consoles. I also plug in my laptop to it to watch movies. However would not recommend using the screen for normal laptop working. It is massive, but the resolution is not very high. The only major problem I have faced on this is, that when you plug in your laptop to the screen, use it and then unplug the laptop, the TV goes into a freez...
