Philips 15PF4121:
... have a 15" widescreen LCD Philips TV, it was about £270 a couple of summers ago. I have had absolutely no problems with it. It has good picture quality, good sound and is rather stylish. he speakers are on each side of the screen and there are a couple of small lights at the bottom left speaker. Samsung is the perfect bedroom or kitchen TV, by this comment i mean that it is far to small to keep everyone entertained in the lounge but is the right size to have on the side in the kitchen or bedroom, I bought this TV about 3 years ago when it was for sale in Curry s. I have never regretted purchasing it, the TV itself is thin and looks sleek with a silver and black finish and a matt style screen. It s very thin and can be wall mounted of can sit on its stand which holds it firmly and securely. Toshiba 23WLT56 ... televisions go I can hardly say this is one of the best i ve had. After our old TV blew up at Christmas we decided to be adventurous and go for a digital model. In hindsight I wish we had done more research because if we had I would not have got this televison. There are a number of faults that I can think of. First is the two-second delay between pressing the button on the remote and anything happenning on the screen, frustrating if all you want to do is flick through the channels. Second is the interference. Now I am aware how the digital signal works and how it can sometimes be cut off, but I have also seen friends and neighbours digital TVs in my area and... JVC LT-30E45SU ... bought this set as I recall JVC as a brand standing for excellent quality. Pros: Installation was easy and straight forward as it was merrely pluged in and switched on. The contrast ratio works ok for signals coming through the cable. Cons: The contrast ratio is insufficent for high quality pictures, like those from a DVD. Worst: The set is very sensible to burn in pictures or shadows. After a short time of use, we had a dark shadow in the middle of the screen. It does state in the manual burn ins may occour.
