Advantages: Its brilliant

Disadvantages: Slow to change channel

I was looking into purchasing a TV for when I moved house. I had a look around Bennett and Comet etc and was looking at the quality of the TV was poor for the amount of money they were charging. I found to get a decent TV set you would have to pay atleast £350 for a 32 inch TV.

I had a look in the Argos book and saw an Acoustic Solutions 32 inch Tv for £300. I went onto the Argos website and saw it had been reduced to £280. I didn't know what this TV looked like or what the picture quality was but I thought for £280 it was worth a gamble.

I went into Argos and went to pay for it, I got told it had been reduced again so £250. That's £250 for a 32 inch TV with built in Freeview etc. You could also get a half price TV stand with it, but I bought a cheaper black glass TV stand to match the colour of the TV.

When I getting it out of the box I noticed its not the prettiest television you will ever see. Its black, with the speaker along the bottom and the acoustic solutions logo above it. It has a thick black outline probably about 7 cms around the TV. While the TV doesn't look the best it does look fairly stylish for the price.

The installation of the Tv was so simple. I plugged it in, it came up on the screen do you want to search for digital channels, i pressed yes. 2 minutes later it was set up and ready to use.

The television picks up all the freeview channel, This might be just because of the area I live in though. The colour is brilliant, the sound is brilliant, the picture is brilliant. I can't believe this only cost £250.

A mate of mine come round and he said it was better quality picture than his LG TV which cost him £150 more just under a year ago.

There are 2 small things i could pick up on these tv. The remote looks basic and the television is quite slow to change channel.

All in all though a superb tele at a superb price.

Summary: Its brilliant and cheap

Sounds good - our TV is on its way out so may have a look at this - how many scart inputs does it have? and does it have an S-video connection?
