Alba 22 Inch Freeview TV/DVD
Advantages: Quality, sound and size.
My mother bought this for my bedroom a few years ago from Sainsbury's. It was around £150.00 at the time and she bought it for me after decorating my bedroom out of her Nectar points. So ultimately, it was more or less free. The product now many years later sits in the study that was created after my room where I study and now spend most of my time. The times I don't study I like to watch films in here. I study Media, Film and English, so you imagine the size of my DVD collection and this television is perfect for it.
The television of course is produced by Alba and I see now it is priced at £129.99 on Ebay, Amazon and Argos. Which, is only £20.00 cheaper to than what I got it. The product is 22inches wide and is all black with an LED light in the corner which comes on for a moment when you turn it on and off. The side of the television is complete with an inside DVD player and this is brilliant. It also plays CD's. So if your in a small room and don't have room for both a television and stereo you can play your CD's on this. It is all held up by a small stand which is attached to the television and cannot be detached. The screen does also not move.
I find that for this television you have to sit at eye level because any lower or higher the picture goes slightly dark. However, it isn't as dark as the first flat screen television where if you did not sit at eye level the picture was none viewable. The picture just slightly distorts in colour. This may not be noticeable or bothersome to some, but me being critical about picture quality do. The size is just right for a bedroom or study. The sound on this product is really quite good, though to the max sounds distorted. The picture quality is also great for the product price.
This product also has built in freeview, which isn't as good as Sky but it is all I need. I rarely watch television and when I do it is only E4. A television is a modern day accessory in most houses and though I don't watch television it is good for my studies and watching DVD's. Which, is all I ever do. It can also be used with HDMI. I sometimes play my PS3 on it when the main household television is taken. The picture is good and decent enough to play with, but I personally prefer the flat screen mounted in my living room for these things. There are loads of specs, but I'll just list a couple.

I would recommend this product as a bedroom television or to someone who has just moved into a new house and doesn't have the money to expense, but also doesn't want a cheap looking television either. The product is very easy to clean also. Either with a duster or a damp cloth. It always looks spotless and mark free and you can barely notice when it is dirty. I just clean it once a week because that is standard. This is only a small television and priced quite cheaply, so I will say not to expect too much from this product. It is easy to navigate around and the remote is also easy to use.
Summary: A great small television.
